Recap for Lesson #4 - Beginners

Full hour on the Swing dance. We reviewed the basic step - triple to the side, triple to the side, and rock, step.

Then we reviewed the 'outside' turn. Man patticakes her hand with his L hand as he dances the 1st triple to the left, then raises the hand up over her head on the
'2'. She spins around to face him (between 2 & 3) - ie: she dances 1&2 to her R, spins, then 3&4 to her L (facing him again). He just does the same steps - 1&2 to his L, and 3&4 to his R, and rock step.

Then the 'inside' turn: He turns his hand xss in front and between the two of them (to turn her in the other direction) while he dances 1&2 to his L - *but! he also turns his body one quarter of a turn to his right. She turns on those 1st 3 steps to face him again. Then they both do their 2nd triple step (her to her L, and him to his R, and rock step.

Last step: Bringing her back in - He starts by stepping forward on the '1' while he pulls his L hand back to his hip, and placing his R hand on her back again. This brings the girl back to him. &2 is just danced on the spot. Then he does his 2nd triple to the R (as always), and rock step. *He could turn that 2nd triple to the R if he wanted to - just spin off '2' turning to the R.
